On last 14th February took place the first Eiffage Marathon of Dakar highway. A real success, and a celebration for the 935 enthusiasts who ran on the autoroute de l’Avenir (Motorway of the Future).
Among them the athlete Samba FAYE, the first Senegalese crossing the finish line. In 10th place with 2h24’58’’, this professional soldier seize the opportunity to beat the Marathon Senegalese record. In the women’s category, Elisa KANDJI ran in 3h42’46’’, finishing 7th overall women.
Invited to run the 4th Eiffage Millau Viaduct Race, they will be proud to defend the Senegalese flag.
